There was a family of turkeys near one of my daughters that crossed the road quite frequently. The gander would stand in the middle of the road till the others would get across. S...That was either one brave, or one dumb, turkey! So glad he escaped unnoticed -- except by you and your camera. My grandmother Bessie lived near an area with lots of wild turkeys. We would often watch the turkeys fly into the trees to roost at night, as the deer and other creatures began to come out to feed.
