Janet-Gilbert.com

Once again I am apologizing for being a bad blogger.  But this time I have a really good excuse. For the past few months I have been working on my own web site.

I have totally stepped out of my comfort zone doing this. Well, actually I did not step out of my comfort zone, I was drop kicked out of my comfort zone by Kathy B (former editor of SB). I guess she was tired of hearing me say "I think I'd like to do a web site".

Then, Sivje Parish listen to me moan and groan as I went through the very steep learning curve of setting up an ecommerce web site.

I decided to go with downloadable pdf designs mainly due to cost of printing.  On the web site there are new designs and a few of my old ones that have been in Sew Beautiful. On the old ones I have tried to update them and give you different options.

The pdf files are set up for  2 sided printing. You can also keep the smocking plate on your computer or tablet. Note: to open and download a pdf file on an ipad you need an app such as winzip or izip along with Adobe reader.

Here is an example of what you can download (watermarks are not on your purchased design).

Special thanks to Kathy Barnard, Sivje Parish and Laurie Anderson for the support, advice and the push when I needed it.

Edited to add:  Just wanted to share some of my samples. I will have more pictures up later.
